Photos are more than just pictures; they’re windows into the past, capturing moments that allow us to relive, share, and preserve our most cherished memories. Every photo should tell your unique story, which is why I’m passionate about making each session a true reflection of you. From the very beginning, we’ll chat about what makes you, well, you—your personality, your style, and all the little details that make your story one-of-a-kind.
When it comes to the session itself, I love to blend a mix of guided, purposeful shots with those natural, candid moments that really capture the essence of who you are. How far do you travel?
I love finding and photographing new locations and am always up for an adventure! Western PA has so many amazing spots but sometimes you gotta spread your wings a little farther. If you have a spot in mind I’d love to hear it, even if it’s a bit off the beaten path. A travel fee may be discussed for any location farther than 1 hour from Beaver Falls, PA.
What do we do if the weather isn't cooperating?
The last thing I want is for the weather to limit the photos we can capture during your session. If the forecast is unfavorable, rescheduling is always an option. If you’re open to embracing a bit of rain or cold, that’s great too! I’m here to support you either way.
Do you have location recommendations for portrait sessions?
If you have a specific spot in mind, great! If not, not to fear. I have oodles of location recommendations up my sleeves. This is another one of those things we’ll discuss during pre-session planning.
How far in advance should I schedule my family portrait session?
My availability is largely dependent on the time of year, with summer and fall months booking quickly. Between the months of June-October I suggest scheduling 4 weeks in advance if you have a specific date in mind. That being said, my goal is to be flexible and accommodating. Please don't let a last minute request keep you from reaching out. If I can make it happen I will!
Do you offer photo editing and retouching?
All of the photos you receive will be fully edited. During the editing process I smooth skin and remove any obvious blemishes. Please let me know prior to your session if there is something in particular that you would like me to address (or not address) during editing.
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
My editing process typically takes 2 weeks, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. During that time you can expect to find some sneak peeks on social media (unless instructed otherwise).
